We offer two distinct ways to dine:

1. Book a Table for the Dining Room (Main Dining room, covered deck and bar dining room)

For a full-service experience with dedicated table service, book a spot in our dining room or covered deck. Further information on booking your table is below.

2. Casual Walk-In Dining in the Garden & Terrace

Our beautiful outdoor areas are ideal for walk ins or for those wanting a more casual experience  We offer our full menu in these areas with  QR code ordering for your convenience.  It’s alfresco dining at its best,  simply grab a spot, scan the QR code at your table, and order at your leisure.

Our outdoor areas operate on a first-come, first-serve basis and cannot be booked in advance due to the nature of our sometimes unpredictable Melbourne weather!

How Bookings Work

If you’re booking a table, please be sure to read through the details below so you know exactly how it all works. We encourage reservations to ensure your spot in our dining room. Our goal is to make sure your experience is seamless, so a little planning goes a long way.

Seating Times & Dining Durations

To keep service flowing (and everyone happy), we have two  sittings. if you would like a longer seating time, please book in the later sitting. (From 7.30pm)

• Bookings for up to 5 guests: 1 hour 30 minutes dining time
• Bookings of 6 guests or more: 2-hour dining time
  (If you would like a longer seating time, please book in the later sitting.)

Menus and options:

For Tables of 7 Adults or Under:

Enjoy our a la carte menu or our signature “Feed Me” menu to share.

Bookings For Groups of 8 Adults or More:

Larger groups dine on our  signature “Feed Me” menu — generous shared plates featuring  all the favourites served served in a relaxed share style. Dietary requirements can be be accommodated within this menu, please advise  in the booking notes and we’ll take care of the rest.

Mixed Groups (Adults + Kids)

If your party includes kids under 12 (for example, 6 adults + 4 kids), you can opt for A la Carte dining. Just let us know how many adults and kids are in your booking notes so we can set up your table accordingly.

Booking Guarantee & Changes

To secure your booking, we’ll ask for a credit card pre-authorisation. This isn’t a deposit, and you won’t be charged unless you cancel within 12 hours of your booking time or don’t show up. Change of plans? Let us know early and you’re all good.

A Few Things To Note

• Public Holiday Surcharge: A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
• Table Requests: Got a spot in mind? We’ll do our best to accommodate, but table assignments are based on booking order.
• Outdoor Seating: Our garden and terrace are walk-in only. If you’re feeling spontaneous, these spots are just the place. Melbourne weather likes to keep us guessing, but that’s half the charm.

GROUP BOOKINGS

Need a table for your group? Too easy! Alatonero specialises in group bookings, whether it be for a birthday celebration, end of year party or just getting the whole family together! 

With private dining options, our signature “Feed Me” menu and the personalised service Alatonero is renowned for, your group will be delighted with your choice of venue!
